Harold Edward Moline, 74

Harold Edward Moline, 74, passed away April 14, 2013, at Kootenai Medical Center after a battle with cancer. Harold was born Nov. 11, 1938, in Cherokee, Iowa, to Raymond and Zella Moline.

Harold moved to Tacoma, Wash., with his family. After graduating from Stadium High school in 1957 he went to work for Boeing Aircraft in Renton, Wash. He joined the U.S. Air Force in September 1959. He married Elizabeth Peterson on June 20, 1963. He was stationed in several Air Force Bases around the world before retiring from the Air Force.

After retiring he moved his family to the Coeur d’Alene area, where he worked for the Coeur d’Alene School District 271 for 20 years. After retiring from the school district Harold enjoyed spending time with his wife of 50 years Elizabeth. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and horseback riding together.

Harold is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Moline of Hayden; his son, Shane Moline and daughter-in-law Kim Moline; and his grandson, Zane Moline; all of Hayden.

A military memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at Coeur d’Alene Forest Cemetery on Government Way. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wounded Warriors in his name.
