Raymond Morgan Sibulsky, 66

Raymond Morgan Sibulsky passed away in the early morning hours of June 15, 2013. Ray was born March 25, 1947, in Kingston, Pa., the first child of Bernard R. and Carol V. Sibulsky.

Ray graduated from Gonzaga Prep in Spokane in 1965, served in the U.S. Army in California and South Korea from 1965 to 1968. He and Judy Zuerner were married in Spokane in 1974, and divorced in 1977. While working in Pasco, Wash., in July 1976, Ray fell from a roof and injured his head. His daughter, Jennifer Marie, was born in the Tri-Cities in 1977. Ray worked hard through many years of rehabilitation, but was unable to make a complete recovery. Ray, his mother Carol and her husband Ken retired to Westport, Wash., where he resided until 2000. Ray then moved to Coeur d’Alene to live with his brother Steve and his family.

Ray is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Wright; his brother, Steve Sibulsky (Mary), their children Andrew and Elisabeth; his sister, Sue Aschim; her daughters, Amelia and Edith; Aunt Eleanor Sibulsky Cook Penn; cousins, Cathy Emery, Carl Cook, Ron Sibulsky and Joan Frith.
