A Kalispell woman facing nine charges including seven counts of prostitution has pleaded guilty to five of the charges while admitting she violated her probation in a prior case.

Andrea Wyatt, 23, pleaded guilty Thursday in Flathead District Court to felony forgery and three misdemeanor counts of prostitution in one case plus  misdemeanor theft (reduced from a felony) in a second case.

Wyatt collected the forgery and prostitution charges after stealing a checkbook from Milton Courter, with whom she had also been performing sexual acts for $400 in cash or Walmart merchandise per encounter.

The 77-year-old Courter allegedly revealed his own prostitution activity with Wyatt in order to report her and her boyfriend, Trevor Lanktree, for stealing and forging his checks. As a result, he also was charged with seven counts of prostitution, all but one of which are felonies.

Wyatt’s theft charge was the result of her and, allegedly, Lanktree stealing tools from Western Building Supply by concealing them in a baby carrier. Wyatt later pawned the items. The case also alleged she stole a bicycle, a snow blower, and two snowboards.

Lanktree was also charged in that case, but it was dismissed as part of a plea agreement encompassing five cases.

During Thursday’s hearing, Wyatt also admitted violating her probation for a 2011 case felony conviction for issuing a bad check. She was given a three-year deferred sentence by District Judge Ted Lympus on Feb. 16, 2012.

Wyatt now faces up to a year and a half in the county jail and 30 years in prison as well as a fine of up to $101,500 plus an additional three years for violating her probation when she is sentenced on Aug. 15. She is currently incarcerated in the Flathead County Detention Center, where she is being held on bonds totaling $90,000.

Lanktree faces between one year in jail and life plus 40 years in prison as well as a fine of up to $150,000 when he is sentenced July 18. He is currently incarcerated in the county jail, where he is being held on bonds totaling $85,000.

Courter has pleaded not guilty to his charges. His next hearing in the case is set for Aug. 28.
