Helen M. Binfield, 95, of Coeur d’Alene, passed away June 24, 2013, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born July 13, 1917, in Williston, N.D., to Roy and Hazel O’Brien.

Helen came to Coeur d’Alene as a child in 1923. She enjoyed crafts, travel and cooking and entertaining family and friends. She was a member of the Eagles Auxilary and the First Baptist Church in Coeur d’Alene.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Diana Clark of Iowa Park, Texas; eight step-children; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her four husbands, Lewis Clark, Clair Black, Archie Yager and Francis Binfield. Helen is also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia McDowell; brothers, Harold and Donald O’Brien; and sisters, Donna Plumb and Beatrice Delyea.

The family wishes any contributions be sent to the North Idaho Cancer Center, 700 Ironwood Drive, Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at The First Baptist Church, 424 E. Wallace Ave., Coeur d’Alene. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d’Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
