Lumberjacks edged by Deer Park

The Coeur d'Alene Lumberjacks 16-and-under team fell to Deer Park 8-7 on Tuesday in American Legion play.
Payten Zahnow and Jake Grinde each drove in two runs for the Lumberjacks, and Jeff Dilday added a pair of hits.
The Lumberjacks resume play Thursday at the Spokane-Coeur d'Alene Wood Bat Classic, facing Kalispell at 1 p.m. at Coeur d'Alene High.
