Travis Edwin Martin has been charged in Flathead County District Court with four counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs.
Martin, owner of the Rendezvous Lounge in downtown Bigfork, is charged with selling cocaine last August and September to undercover agents. According to Flathead County District Court documents, Martin sold a gram of cocaine to agents of the Northwest Drug Task Force on Aug. 30, 2012. The agents returned the following night and purchased cocaine that was brought to the club by Phillip Michael Sowder of Kalispell. On Sept. 13, 2012, agents bought one ounce of cocaine from Martin for $1,200, and on Sept. 21, according to court documents, Martin sold them an ounce of cocaine for $1,200.
On March 21, 2013, agents went to Sowder’s home at 151 Larks Lane in Kalispell and performed a search. The agents found 64.3 grams of cocaine, 65 marijuana plants and a large sum of cash, court documents say.
The Rendezvous Lounge has since apparently closed, with no signs remaining at the downtown location.
