Company to expand manufacturing plant

 Accurate Casework Industries is expanding its manufacturing facility in the Evergreen area.

Accurate Casework is a supplier of office and institutional furnishings and works the construction industry throughout the West.  

The facility, which will hire 21 new employees over the next few years, will manufacture System 70 office system furnishings for government and corporate entities for distribution across the Western United States and Canada.

The Flathead County Economic Development Authority was awarded $62,580 on behalf of Accurate Casework Industries from the Montana Department of Commerce’s Big Sky Trust Fund.

The grant will be used to purchase equipment and be matched by company money to train employees and make other expansion investments.

Montana West Economic Development, in collaboration with the Flathead Job Service, Montana Manufacturers Extension Center, Small Business Development Center and Flathead Valley Community College, began working with the investment team in November 2012.

Tom Kneeshaw is relocating to be the new general manager of the expanded facility.

Climate change awards announced
