MATTAWA - Organizers of Mattawa Comm"Unity" Days are seeking specific vendors to add to the growing list.

Comm"Unity" days will be held on Aug. 23-24. Other than the two parades and the fun run, all activities will be in Hund Park.

According to chairwoman Maggie Celaya, the organizing committee would like to hear from local vendors of Tupperware, Scentsy, Cookie Lee, and Avon.

"Community Days is really a good way to let the community know who you are and what to offer," Celaya said.

Celaya will be out of town until Aug. 6, but she said interested vendors may acquire needed information at city hall. Application forms are available there.

Friday's activities will start with a kiddie parade at 5 p.m. Saturday will kick off with breakfast at Hund Park at 7:30 a.m.

The annual Fun Run will start at 8 a.m. The parade will step off at 11 a.m., and events at the park will start after the parade.

Groove Principals, a rock-pop band headed by Wahluke Junior High Dean of Students Sean Langdon, will be featured at the park.
