More than $2.5 million in energy-saving projects are being completed at the school, $1.2 million of which is paid for by a Quality Schools grant. Kalispell Public Schools also recently received $2.2 million in zero-interest Qualified Zone Academy Bond loans, which will be repaid over a 15-year period using energy savings.
