The Hockaday Museum of Art’s 45th annual Arts in the Park festival takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in downtown Kalispell’s Depot Park.

The festival runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The arts festival is the Hockaday’s primary annual fundraiser and features more than 100 local and visiting artists and craftsmen. A variety of food and drink, as well as children’s activities and live music, offer something for everyone in the family.

For the first time in its 45-year history, the festival will feature a wine and beer garden with five varietals of wine and two local craft microbrews. It open at 11 a.m. daily.

The wine and beer garden is sponsored and hosted by Brannigan’s Pub. Expert staff will be on hand to discuss the wine and beer selections and answer questions.

Expanded for 2013 is the Kids’ Fun Zone. Added this year is a bungee trampoline and other great children’s activities.

Daily admission to the festival will be $3. Children age 6 and under are admitted free with their family.

Purchase of a $5 weekend pass button gives the bearer unlimited admission to the festival all three days, as well as unlimited admission to the Hockaday Museum of Art during the festival.

Arts in the Park is made possible in part by support from the Daily Inter Lake, Kalispell Toyota, BNSF Railway and Brannigan’s Pub.

The Hockaday Museum of Art is located in at 302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell. For more information, visit www.hockadaymuseum.org or call 755-5268.
