C-Falls takes third at Conrad swim meet

Columbia Falls swimmers had a strong showing at the Conrad Invitational on July 20-21.
Bryce Dunham won the 50 meter freestyle with a time of 44.78, and Zayne Friar won the 50 butterfly at 32.18 and the 100 butterfly at 1:16.51.
Jacob Hohman had a nice meet, winning the 50 freestyle at 33.75, and Tyler Langton continues to swim well. Langton won the 100 intermediate medley, the 50 free and the 50 backstroke with times of 1:45.07, 36.46 and 43.85 respectively.
Bubba Loyda also continues to cruise — he won every race he swam in for his age group, including the 100 free, the 50 backstroke and the 50 fly with times of 1:07.92, 36.52 and 35.76.
Jessica Loyda swam well, winning the 50 free and 100 free with times of 31.27 and 1:09.27. Young Zane McCallum had a good race, winning the 25 back stroke with a time of 24.81.
As a team, Columbia Falls took third. They will travel to the Bitterroot Valley for the divisional meet this weekend before heading to the state tournament the following weekend in Sidney.
