Immanuel Lutheran Communities invites the community to celebrate National Dance Day at 10 a.m. Friday at Buffalo Hill Terrace, 40 Claremont St., Kalispell.

National Dance Day is intended to promote health and wellness and bring individuals from all walks of life together through a positive platform of dance. All ages are welcome to help promote fitness among the young and young at heart through dance.

Participants will learn a fun and easy dance routine for submission to the popular television show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” Last year’s video can be viewed on YouTube.

More than 200 people attended last year’s event. Immanuel Lutheran expects turnout to double this year.

Local dance schools will be in attendance. The first 200 attendees will get a free T-shirt.
