Stolen engagement ring reported

A 35-year-old Coeur d'Alene woman says her $4,600 engagement ring has been stolen, likely while she was out of town for work, according to a police report released Thursday.
Christina M. Hull, 35, said the platinum and diamond ring was placed into a jewelry box on her nightstand before she left to Toronto.
She returned home on July 12, but didn't notice the ring was missing until Monday morning. She lives on West Elmgrove Court.
She told Coeur d'Alene police that several people had access to the residence while she was gone, but she doesn't have any idea who might have snatched the ring.
"It was a custom design and is fairly unique," she told The Press. "It needs to be sized so I haven't been wearing it."
The ring is size 6 1/2 or 7 now, and the center diamond has a "princess cut, baguettes on each side of the center diamond," the police report said.
Hull told police she was going to go to pawn shops to look for it.
She provided The Press with a photograph hoping someone will spot it and notify police.
