Twenty years ago when I moved here, the roads and state highways were in good shape, paved regularly. Now all you see is Idaho road Band-aids. Seems they were done with a bid process and by private concerns.
Now all you see are state trucks, a ton of public employee union workers and a job done so poorly that had they been done if in the private sector, you’d be run off. You don’t have to inspect your own, I guess.
Do all our taxes go to wages and pretty new trucks instead of making the roads better and a job well done? Just saying, take a trip up north on Highway 41 out of Rathdrum.
