The Glacier Twins A season hit the skids just as the heat of summer set in.

The American Legion baseball club went 6-14 in July, and was bounced from the Western District Class A tournament last week in Eureka after going 1-2.

Glacier fell July 25 to Libby 6-16 in their tournament opener.

Jayce Fagerland had two RBI on two hits. Brandon Maassen added two RBI.

Peter Seymour and Austin Robbins shared duties on the mound and each struck out four batters.

Glacier rebounded with a nice 8-2 win July 26 over the Kootenai Valley Rangers, posting five runs in the sixth frame.

Fagerland led the way with three RBI and three hits. Shane Marcial added two RBI on two hits, and Seymour tallied two RBI.

Brandon Maassen pitched five innings and struck out seven batters. Ramlow worked the mound for four innings with two strike outs.

A 3-13 loss July 27 to the Bitterroot Bucs knocked Glacier out of the tournament.

Jake Slaybaugh led the Twins with three hits.

Glacier left the district tourney with a 29-25 overall record.
