Shock rout San Jose, move into second in division

SPOKANE - Standout receiver Adron Tennell punished San Jose with his feet Saturday night, rushing for three touchdowns as the Spokane Shock routed the SaberCats 75-45 in Arena Football League play at the Spokane Arena.

Brandon Thompkins caught four touchdown passes, three from Erik Meyer, for Spokane, which led 34-9 in the second quarter and led by as much as 39 points (68-29) in the fourth quarter.

Spokane (8-3) moved ahead of San Jose (7-3) into second place in the West Division of the National Conference.

Spokane plays host to Jacksonville (8-3) next Saturday.
