Moses Lake High School announces class of 2013's top 10

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake High School administrators have announced the top 10 students in the class of 2013.

The top 10 are Karina Agbisit, Camiel Bruneel, Hayley Mahn, Cortney Radocaj, Katrina Ulnick, Ece Yilmaz, Holly Tye, Angela Quinn, Joshua Fairbanks and Allison Banda.

Camiel Bruneel

Bruneel has been involved in drill team and dance while in high school, took advanced placement (AP) classes and plans to attend Utah State University, majoring in chemical engineering. She is the daughter of Frank and Gaylene Bruneel.

Hayley Mahn

Mahn was elected to the school's National Honor Society chapter, was in choir four years and participated in Knowledge Bowl and AP classes. She plans to attend Eastern Washington University, majoring in secondary education with an emphasis on U.S. history. She is the daughter of Scott and Jana Mahn.

Holly Tye

Tye was involved in the music program throughout high school, singing in the school's jazz choir, took AP classes and was elected to National Honor Society. She was active in the music program at her church as one of the choir leaders. She plans to attend Central Washington University but hasn't decided on career. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Julie Tye.

Joshua Fairbanks

Fairbanks was on the Knowledge Bowl and Science Olympiad teams, ran cross-country, was in the band and choir and took AP classes. Outside of school he participated in Boy Scouts. He plans to attend Brigham Young University and major in chemical engineering. He is the son of Vaughn and Lee Ann Fairbanks.

Ece Yilmaz

Yilmaz was elected to the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta (the honors math program) took AP classes and played varsity tennis. She plans to attend the University of Washington and major in biomedical engineering. She is the daughter of Semra and Sefa Yilmaz.

Cortney Radocaj

Radocaj was elected to National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, played varsity and club soccer and took AP classes. She plans to attend New York University and major in English, with the goal of being an editor. She is the daughter of Mark and Gretchen Radocaj.

Katrina Ulnick

Ulnick was elected to National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta, took advanced Spanish and AP classes, worked with art and photography and played varsity golf. She also took mission trips overseas with her church. She plans to attend Whitworth University in Spokane and major in cross-cultural studies. She is the daughter of Dr. Keith and Sheryl Ulnick.

Karina Agbisit

Agbisit was a member of the school's speech and debate team, participated in drama and community theater through Nightscare Productions, took advanced Spanish as well as art and AP classes. She plans to attend the University of Portland and major in environmental ethics and policy. She is the daughter of Marion and Marlene Agbisit.

Angela Quinn

Quinn participated in the school's band and jazz band, took AP classes and participated in religious education through her church. She plans to attend Brigham Young University - Idaho and major in fine art. She is the daughter of Allen and Christine Quinn.

Allison Banda

Banda was a member of the school's Link Crew, Knowledge Bowl and Science Olympiad teams, took AP classes and religious education through her church. She plans to attend Brigham Young University and major in engineering. She is the daughter of Steve and Deborah Banda.
