ROYAL CITY - A big raffle is being planned for the annual Histio Heroes Walk-a-Bike-a-thon on the Royal Schools campus on June 15, and raffle items are still being sought.

"We ask that items be valued at $25 or more," organizer Polly Carlson said.

Carlson and other volunteers have already collected several items. Among them are two quilts Carlson made.

One quilt is perfect for a baby or child and features lots of fun Dr. Seuss fabrics. The other quilt is a fun, modern throw quilt done in Royal's colors of black and gold.

"It would be a great throw quilt for an adult or could also work well for a child," Carlson said.

Katie Allred is putting together two baby gift baskets - one for a boy and one for a girl.

If anyone has other items they would like to contribute to the raffle, they may contact Carlson at 346-1254.
