Kootenai County Sheriff
Wednesday
9 a.m.: An Evinrude boat motor, a rototiller, a chain saw, fishing equipment and other items with a total value of about $9,000 were reported stolen from a Dodge van and a shed on private property in the 24200 block of North Estates Drive near Athol.
11:47 a.m.: Gold, diamond and gemstone jewelry, prescription medications and alcohol with a total value of about $6,400 were reported stolen from a residence in the 7400 block of East Burma Road near Harrison.

Christopher P. Keener, 39, Athol: Three years determinate penitentiary time and four years indeterminate time, retained jurisdiction and driver's license suspended for one year for driving under the influence and probation violation.
Keith A. Sarbacher, 27, Lewiston: Four years determinate penitentiary time and six years indeterminate time, penitentiary suspended, $481 in fines, $24 restitution and two years probation for two counts of grand theft.
