Linda Lou Kellogg Umphrey passed away March 21, 2013, surrounded by her family.
Linda was born May 13, 1947, in St. Maries, Idaho. She was adopted by Keith and Mary Kellogg at the age of 4.
She grew up in the Wallace area and graduated from Wallace High School in 1965. Linda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in medical reception from North Idaho College in 1985.
She lived in the Coeur d’ Alene area for the past 30 years. She married Rodney E. Umphrey in 1980. They were true sweethearts.
She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved playing darts and hanging out with her friends. She had an adventurous spirit.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rodney E. Umphrey and father Keith Kellogg.
She is survived by her mother Mary Kellogg; her three daughters: Tammy Altermott, Kim Manning, and Pam Pfeifer; two stepsons Russ Umphrey and Rod Umphrey; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
