Maria de Jesus Barajas Lopez, 94, longtime Moses Lake resident, died Friday, June 7, 2013 in Columbia Crest Care and Rehabilitation. She was born Jan. 1, 1919 in Michoacán, Mexico to Elodoro Eloisa Barajas Lopez.
Maria is survived by her children Maria Peña, Maria Quintanilla, Ramona Peña, Geronimo Cruz, Teresa Rebulta and Carmen Peralta; grandchildren Alex Peña, Maria Peña, Veronica Peña, Brenda Peña, Arcelio Vargas, Elifga Ellsworth, Emelio Vargas, Delfina Vargas, Noe Peña, Lorena Peña, Eduardo Peña, Trinidad Peña, Angel Jr. Peña, Tavio Rebulta, Anita, Dolores, and Navor Rebulta, Alexanderia and Angelina Rebulta, Carlos, Elodoro, Julio, Augustine, Yadira, Temo, Mayra, Iran, Carmen and Eloisa Chávez.
Viewing will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Rosary at 10:30 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013. Burial and concluding services will immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Warden, WA.
