A three-run fifth inning extended Glacier’s lead to 5-0. Their final four runs came in the ninth when they strung together three consecutive hits, including a Zac Darling double.
Glacier was aggressive on the bases and tallied 10 steals.
Saturday, the Twins A and B teams split a double-header with Missoula at Memorial Field.
The Twins B won the opener 4-2, posting a run in the third and three more in the fifth. Brandon Maassen tallied two RBI, while Jayce Fagerland and Colton Gove each had two hits.
Austin Robbins and Ryley Nahrgang shared mound duties in the victory.
In Game 2, the Mavericks exploded for five runs in the second inning. It was all they would need to hang on for the 5-2 win over the Twins A.
