Libby-Troy bowlers fare well at state

The Libby-Troy United States Bowling Congress sent 15 to the Montana State Youth Bowling Tournament recently in Great Falls.  

In team competition, the Libby Rollers consisting of Austin Swartzenberger, Aspen Swartzenberger, Ryggs Johnston and Ryker McElmurry took first place in Division 3. 

The Libby Crushers, consisting of Caleb Hooper, Colton Tubb, Elijah Miller and Amanda Levandoski placed third in Division 3 team events.

In doubles, Tubb and Hooper took first in Division 3, Johnston and Austin Swartzenberger took third in Division 2, while Erich and Adam Tallmadge took fourth in Division 3. Aspen Swartzenberger and McElmurry took eighth in Division 4.

In singles competition, Erich Tallmadge took first in Division 3, and Colton Beard took sixth place in Division 3.

In all events scratch, Erich Tallmadge took first in Division 3 and also took second in Division 3 in all-events handicap .

Austin Swartzenberger took third in Division 3; Aspen Swartzenberger took fourth in Division 5; Tubb took fourth in Division 3; Hooper took sixth in Division 3; Braden Lowry took 11th in Division 4 and Miller took 11th in Division 1. 

Miller bowled a high game of 267 for which he also received a plaque for this accomplishment.

This does not include all of the specialty awards that they received.
