Dustin Martel set a new Montana Raceway Park record in qualifying for Hobby Stocks last Saturday with a fast time of 14.788 seconds.

He was the lone driver to break 15 seconds.

Martel went on to win the heat race, placed third in the trophy dash and came in fifth in the main event. Casey Brandt won the main.

Other main event winners on the night were Devin Clayton in the Legends, Bill McCallum in the Bombers and Bodie Morton in the Super Stocks.

Racing continues Saturday with the Canadian/American Shoot-out 125 for Super Late Models, Bombers, Hornets and Bandoleros.

Time trials are at 6 p.m. with racing at 7.
