Alyssa Nordwick, 7, of Libby, seemed well pleased with her 10.2-ounce rainbow she caught Saturday during the Kids' Fishing Day at Troy's Roosevelt Park. The event, put on by Fish Wildlife & Parks, the Forest Service and Army Corps of Engineers, included a casting contest, hotdogs for the hungry, random prizes, and first, second and third prizes for the biggest fish. One could catch and realease as many as they wanted, but the keepers were limited to 2. There were even volunteers on hand to cleran you fish for you. By 11:15 a.m. 55 kids had signed up to cast their luck.
