Genevieve Mae “Jinks” (Jones) Dilworth passed away June 8, 2013, at her son’s home in Portland, Ore. She was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Pleasant View to Julia and Hunter Jones.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna and Roger Brown, and Joye and Joel Palmer; a son, David and Margie Dilworth; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jinks was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years; her parents; three sisters and a brother.

She lived in the Coeur d’Alene area for most of her life. She moved to Portland to live with her son and daughter-in-law six years ago. She loved her family and kept in touch with all of them. Her faith was very important in her life and she passed that on to her children and grandchildren, always praying for each one. She was an avid Mariners fan. She also loved to crochet and read. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coeur d’Alene.

At the family’s request, there will be no services. There will be a memorial held in August in Coeur d’Alene.
