James “Pat” Hall, 67, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., (formerly of Spirit Lake), died Monday, June 3, 2013, of an apparent heart attack.

Pat was born in Yakima, Wash., on Nov. 7, 1945, and graduated from high school in Spokane in 1964. He and his wife, Patti, resided in Spirit Lake until moving to Alabama around 2007.

After retiring from the Idaho Department of Transportation he and Patti spent their summers at Twin Rivers Canyon Resort with good friends Rex and Shelly where they entertained rafters on the Kootenai River. Pat enjoyed the outdoors and was always willing to help anyone who needed a hand.

He is survived by his wife, Patti of Muscle Shoals; children, Hannah Detherow of Stone Mountain, Ga., Robert Detherow and Susan Mojonnie of Coeur d’Alene, and Don Hall of Cummings, Ga.; niece Trese Markee of Colbert, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
