Reader thinks pool price doesn't add up

Moses Lake School Board members are mulling over adding 650 square feet to the high school's new pool building at an additional $400,000. Is it just me, or did anyone else do the math? $615.38 per square foot for 650 square feet of empty space! And the board wonders why voting tax-payers won't agree to a tax increase so the members can decide how to spend the money.

650 square feet is about 31 by 21 feet, smaller than a small two-car garage. $400,000, wow!
