The Ophoven family’s Two by Four Family Band makes its Flathead Valley debut July 2.

The Grand Rapids, Minn., group performs at 7 p.m. at Family Life Christian Church, 1075 Foy’s Lake Road, Kalispell.

There is no charge to attend the concert, which is sponsored by the Montana Gospel Music Association. An offering will be taken.

Jerry, Molli, Kate, John, Aaron and Elizabeth Ophoven began playing as a band in 2008 and love sharing music with others. They play at festivals, churches, fairs and various other functions across the Midwest, Missouri, Montana and Canada. They will be coming to Kalispell directly from the three-day Milk River Gospel Festival in Malta.

With tight vocal harmonies and hard-driving instrumentals, this family exhibits joy, energy and passion. They perform a variety of music styles, including traditional bluegrass, gospel bluegrass, originals and acapella.
