IRONMAN: Cheers to Hadley, Cd'A
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 13 years, 2 months AGO
This last Sunday I completed my first Ironman and I have to say a huge thanks to the volunteers, but I have to tell you that every aspect of my visit was amazing. From the servers in the eateries, to the clerks in the stores, the encouragement and friendliness was incredible. The volunteers on the course were at many times saviours. In particular, I would like to extend a personal thanks to one of your Ironman pros. Brian Hadley not only took the time to take me on the courses, but his advice and caring nature not only kept my nerves calm but set me up for an amazing day. He took the time to help a complete stranger and a novice in the sport. Coeur d’Alene should be proud to have such a great professional reside in their town.
I have already told my friends and colleagues about your beautiful town and your amazing people. You all made my experience fantastic! The Ironman is a bucket list item for many and you exceeded my every expectation. Thank you so much for all the support you gave all of us weekend warriors, but in particular, thank you from an accountant by day and a triathlete in my dreams.
