Mike and Shirley Marsan were married on June 29, 1963, and will be celebrating 50 years of bliss on June 29, 2013.

The family would like to invite the community to an open house from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Blue Wolf Community Hall. Please come and help celebrate with cake. Stories welcome but please no gifts.

Connelly-Gregg

Michael Matthew Gregg and Meghan Rose Connelly are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken and Joni Connelly. The groom-to-be is the son of Scott and Sharon Gregg, and Gary and Priscilla Baker.

The couple is planning a Saturday, July 13, 2013, wedding in Coeur d'Alene.

Dalvini-Richardson

Chip and Ginger Dalvini are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Dalvini to Aaron Richardson. Aaron is the son of Kathy Peters and the late Brian Richardson of Arvada, Colo.

Jamie graduated from Lake City High School in 2005 and the University of Idaho in 2010. She is currently employed at the Coeur d'Alene School District. Aaron graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada in 2001 and the Colorado School of Mines. He is currently stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane.

After the wedding the couple will reside in Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK.

The couple will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Elk Point Event Center in Coeur d'Alene.

Anna Marie Mae Capparelli was born at 7:53 p.m. Jan. 13, 2013, to Kaitlin Capparelli of Hayden. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 19 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Jimmy Capparelli and Karen Capparelli.

Presley Scott Rogers was born April 9, 2013, to Tori Beach and Cody Rogers of Coeur d'Alene, at Kootenai Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds 13 ounces.

Blake Preston Whitman was born at 10:36 a.m. June 3, 2013, to Preston and Melissa Whitman of Hayden. He weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces. Sisters are Alicen (age 10) and Justice (age 8) Newby. Maternal grandparents are Alicen Van Kleeck (deceased), Robert Brockman (deceased), and Robert and Monica Van Kleeck of Kellogg. Paternal grandparents are Linda and Brian Haase of Chatteroy, Wash., and Dan and Kim Whitman of Priest Lake.

Nathan William Boren was born at 7:42 a.m. June 5, 2013, to Stephanie and Clinton Boren of Post Falls. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20.75 inches long. Brother is Dylan Boren. Sister is Kailyn Boren. Maternal grandparents are Steve and Laurie Todd. Paternal grandparents are Mark and Jo Boren.

Edwin Wayne Swalander was born at 8:17 a.m. June 10, 2013, to Shanna R. and John O. Swalander of Hayden. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 20 inches long. Sister is Aurora Grace Lippard. Maternal grandparents are Terrence W. Smith and Roxie Susnis. Paternal grandparents are Roger and Julie Swalander.

Jachius Philip Holmes was born at 1:06 a.m. June 22, 2013, to Brittney and Kyle Holmes of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 7 pounds and was 19.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Craig Ocheltree and Stacy Simmons. Paternal grandparents are Dan and Lori Holmes.

MILITARY

U.S. Army Pvt. Allison P. Desilets graduated May 30, 2013, at Fort Lenadwood, Mo. Allison is the daughter of Kevin and Roberta Desilets of Rathdrum. She is 2011 Lakeland High School graduate.
