Charles J. Hunsaker (C.J.), 71, of Hayden, was born to Marion and Charles Hunsaker on July 26, 1941, in Jefferson City, Mo. He went to be held in the loving arms of The Lord Jesus Christ on Feb. 25, 2013.

He is survived by his devoted life partner and companion, Clara (Maxie); his daughter, Kaylene Tobin of Rohnert Park, Calif.; son Charles and wife Heidi Hunsaker of Monterey, Calif.; son Brian and wife Elizabeth (Liz) of Hidden Valley, Calif.; caring grandfather of Austin (AJ), Christopher, Dylan (DJ) and Brianna; nephews, Gary, Stephen and Jeff; his bother, Tom and wife Crystal Hunsaker; brother Jerry Hunsaker; mother (Ma) of Bonner's Ferry; extended family children Wanda, Sharrie and Ivan (Sonny) with many extended grandchildren; and his best friends, Earl and Tanya Ramey.

Thank you Maxie for being there everyday and additionally being by his side through the last days of his time here. Special Thank you to Dr. Brian Samuels for being an excellent doctor that Charles trusted. C.J. Was one of a kind, with personality and laughter larger than life. A saying for everything and the gift of gab. He retired from hearing aide sales and had a lifelong passion for classic cars and anything that was fast and fun. He loved spending time on Lake Coeur d'Alene and seeking out new adventures to share with family and friends. You and your late night phone calls will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at longtime friends Earl and Tanya Ramey's home in Rathdrum. For further information email kaylene@sonic.net.
