Stolen car eludes its owner

A man contacted the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after finding his stolen vehicle on U.S. 93 South in Kalispell, where it was blocked in by other vehicles. He called back later to say he was following the vehicle, which was being driven at about 90 miles per hour, but eventually lost it.
A Lost Farm Lane man reported his dog had been shot with a pellet gun about three months ago, but he never reported it to law enforcement. He decided to report it after finding more pellets in the pasture with his horses, leading him to believe that his neighbors — who he thought were responsible for shooting his dog (although he had no proof) — were now shooting at his horses.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on McMannamy Draw, where a girl reported her father was beating up her mother.
