I have some comments on two recent My Turn columns. First the latest Jimmy Pappas column. It starts with some very brief remarks about gun control but quickly switches to the usual (for Mr. Pappas) venomous diatribe against the Republican Party. I must note again that I have never encountered such poisonous hatred from a Republican directed against the Democratic Party (which is far more deserving of it).

Republicans are much kinder in their assessments of the arrogance, distortions of the truth, and total lack of ethics and morality on the part of the Democrats (to mention just a few examples of their characteristics). Mr. Pappas has the unbelievable gall to refer to Fox News as a puppet of the Republicans while he swims in a veritable sea of media bias favoring the Democrats.

Then of course he offers his usual obeisance toward his deity the labor unions which are among the most self-centered, thuggish and misguided pressure groups in the country. And the outrageous distortions spread through his column are more than enough to make the stomach of anyone with half a brain or more go into convulsions. (And it’s a safe bet that if his “lord and savior” BHO asked, he would run through his neighborhood collecting guns — including his own — to deliver to him.)

By the way, has anyone seen that video clip of Obama talking to some school children and saying his problem is that he’s not the emperor of the U.S.? He also says his job is to enforce the laws passed by Congress which is true but he never mentions, for example, his instruction to the Justice Department to stop enforcing the DOMA legislation.

Then we have the other column from Kevin Fox. Excellent piece Mr Fox. Put me down as agreeing with everything you wrote. It’s long past time for someone to have the guts to speak out against this PC world we’re all being dragged into (primarily, I might add, another example of the Democrats at work).
