Joshua James Perry, 24
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 11 years, 10 months AGO
Joshua James Perry, 24, “passed on to perfect peace with his heavenly Father” on March 6, 2013.
He was born November 23, 1988 in Whitefish to David and Katryn Perry. He grew up in Whitefish where he loved being on the shores of any mountain lake or wandering through the forests with his family and dog.
Josh was interested in many things; he was an artist at heart. He always had a creative project in process; be it artisan bread or a woodworking idea. He had a passion for graphic design, especially designing logos. He joined his mother in the kitchen with passion, ultimately surpassing her with his ability to produce what brings joy to all — the best thing you ever tasted. He brought love and laughter around the table.
He was a generous man, a patient teacher and willing to help anyone who needed a hand. When a job needed to be done, he gave it all his attention. To the best of his ability, he looked after the interests of others.
Josh is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Lona Lee Evans, Uncle Paul Perry, and cousin Andrea Perry.
He is survived by his parents, David and Katryn Perry, his sister Ruth, his brother Joseph, his grandparents Paul and Carolyn Perry, Aunt Lexie Evans, Uncle Troy and Heather Evans, Uncle Cly and Charlotte and cousins Grace and Emma, Aunt Jill and John and cousins Jennifer and Dan, Jessica and Dax, Uncle Jay Evans, Uncle Todd and Kanako Evans and cousin Shingo, Uncle Bruce and Dawn and cousin Jay, Auntie Anne and Dave and cousins Daniel, Anna and Rob and Rachael, Auntie Marilyn and cousins Nicholas and Jennifer, Auntie Carla and cousins Jeff and Mark, Auntie Susan and Greg and cousins Rachael and Lena, as well as many extended family members.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Whitefish Assembly of God Church, 1549 Karrow Ave.
In lieu of flowers the family requests sending memorials to First Interstate Bank, any branch, to establish the Josh Perry Memorial Art Scholarship Fund.
Please watch for Joshua's Facebook page to be reactivated to leave remembrances.
