Nancy Elizabeth Eddy, 72, resident of Hayden, passed away on March 7, 2013, at the Hospice of North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.?Nancy was born on Aug. 20, 1940, to William and Mirian (Lord) McDougall in Spokane. She married the love of her life, Roger Eddy on Dec. 31, 1960, and they had three children. They celebrated 43 years of marriage before Roger's death in 2003. Nancy remained active in her family and friends lives and will be terribly missed.

She is survived by her son, William Eddy of California; her daughters, Leslie (Ray) Theander of Post Falls and Tammy (Fred) Ritzheimer of Hayden; grandchildren, William and Riley Eddy of Post Falls, Samantha Williams (Ritzheimer) and Lindsey Ritzheimer of Hayden, Megan Cornelious (Theander) of Boise and Zachary Theander of Delaware; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brody Williams, and Kadence Cornelious; as well as two sisters, Laura Lee Truhls of Arizona and Kathleen Simmons of California.

At Nancy's request there will be no funeral, but a celebration of her life will take place later with family and friends.
