Graduation party
The committee organizing this year’s graduation party for the Columbia Fall High School Class of 2013 is accepting donations for prizes, giveaways or funds for the event. Donated items or funds can be dropped off at All About Memories, 3585 Highway 40 or by mailing to Columbia Falls Class of 2013, Parent Committee, P.O. Box 2852, Columbia Falls MT 59912. Teen parents
The Columbia Falls High School’s Tykes and Teens Hero Preschool will be held from April 26 through May 31 from 12:50 to 2:10 p.m. each day. Cost is $25. A bill requiring the state to electronically verify that all foreign nationals are in the U.S. legally before issuing a Montana driver’s license or ID card was signed into law by Gov. Brian Schweitzer on April 18.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
