TRUCKS: Not fan of big ones

Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 12 years, 9 months AGO

I am afraid using 95 in Coeur d’Alene just might get more difficult with Senate Bill 1117 which would approve even larger trucks coming through town with the approval from local elected leaders. Trucks with weight approved to max 129,000 pounds would be allowed. That is about 24,000 pounds more.

It is already a nightmare now with heavy trucks in either direction. It is to me hard to understand that our politicians from Northern Idaho can approve that. It will be hard on the roads, pollution will be higher, traffic will get slower and more dangerous to drive. Please write and voice your view to this paper.
