Kalispell Police got a report Sunday of a man throwing a rock through a vehicle window, grabbing a box from inside the vehicle and then driving off from a convenience store on U.S. 2 west.

A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Fifth Avenue West North.

An intoxicated woman was repeatedly falling down on First Avenue East.

A Fourth Avenue East resident reported a theft of a flat-screen television.

A man calling from Sunny View Lane said he mistakenly left an iPad on his vehicle and then drove off. He hoped it would be found and returned, but he ended up finding it smashed on a road.

Early Monday, just after midnight, an employee calling from a casino on North Main Street said her purse had been stolen.

A person calling from a Third Avenue East address reported the theft of a scooter sometime over the weekend.

 

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding a rock being thrown through a vehicle window on Lone Pine Road. Soon after, there was another report of another vehicle being vandalized while parked at Lone Pine State Park.

A girl reportedly was shooting a compound bow in an unsafe manner in the Bear Trail area near Whitefish. The reporting party said arrows were ending up in neighboring yards. The girl was counseled.

A woman calling from a U.S. 2 West address in Marion said her ex-husband was threatening to break into her house. The man was still on the lease, and was allowed to collect his video games from the home.

A vehicle was broken into on Whitefish Stage Road, with a cell phone and a purse being stolen.

A person calling from a heath club on West Reserve Drive reported allowing a man and a woman who were not members to use the rest room. After they left, a purse belonging to a member was missing.

A person calling from East Evergreen Drive said her daughter stole an MP3 player at the girl’s school.

Early Monday, just after midnight, a caller from a bar on Woodland Avenue said two women showed up and threw a drink at the reporting party and then refused to leave. When they did finally try to leave, the caller apparently punched a hole through the windshield of their vehicle.

 

Whitefish Police on Sunday responded to a fight among several people behind a grocery story on Baker Avenue.

A person was arrested after a traffic stop on U.S. 93 West at about 8:30 p.m.

There was a report of a highly intoxicated man passing out outside the office at a hotel on Spokane Avenue. The man would not leave when asked, and it turned out that he was at the wrong hotel.

An 18-year-old girl was caught with fake identification and charged with being in possession of alcohol on Central Avenue.

A highly intoxicated man was screaming obscenities on Spokane Avenue.

Early Monday, at about 1:40 a.m., there was a report of two people possibly having sex on the west side of the viaduct.

 Columbia Falls Police got a call at 4 a.m. Monday from a woman who said her soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend was refusing to leave a residence on Fourth Avenue West. The man, who had been drinking, was arrested for being combative.
