Coffee stand burglarized in Rathdrum

RATHDRUM - Rathdrum police are investigating a burglary that was reported on Thursday morning at the Bean Barn coffee stand next to the Hico gas station.

Police responded to the stand at 5:10 a.m. after the window had been broken and the back door "ripped open," according to a police report.

An undisclosed amount of cash and a credit card machine were stolen.

Surveillance of the area is being reviewed to determine suspect information.

A vehicle near the coffee stand was also broken into, police said.
