SEWER: Better idea than park

Well duh!
The three city council members, and the mayor, spend $20 million on the remake of a park the public loved and offered recreation to the kids and the American Legion, and now are in a bind to have the dollars (all taxpayer monies) to bring the sewer treatment plant up to government safety regulations.
How smart is that? Come November, I hope those three confused council persons and the mayor are smart enough to take their names off the ballot.
Still valid: “Save for a rainy day.”
