Easter egg hunts scheduled

Here are some of the Easter egg hunts scheduled for this weekend:

FRIDAY

* A flashlight hunt for kindergartners through fifth grade only will be held at 8:30 p.m. at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, 1866 N. Cecil Road. Attendees should bring a flashlight. Kids are eligible to find a grand prize egg and families can enter a drawing for a Silverwood Theme Park Gold Pass.

SATURDAY

* A hunt for toddlers through fifth grade organized by RLM will be held at 10 a.m. at G.O. Phippeny Park, 827 N. 8th St., Coeur d'Alene.

* Coeur d'Alene Church of the Nazarene, 4000 N. 4th St., will hold a hunt at 10:30 a.m. The hunt is open to ages up to 12 and will be divided by age group. There will be door prizes and 5,000 eggs hidden on 10 acres. Information: 667-3543

* A hunt organized by Dalton Gardens Church of Christ for infants through sixth-graders will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Dalton Gardens City Park.

* An Easter egg hunt will be held at 1 p.m. at Worley City Park. Info: Station 1, 686-1718

* A hunt for toddlers through fifth grade will be held at RLM in Post Falls at 3:30 p.m.

* Prairie Avenue Christian Center is hosting an Easter Eggstravaganza. The festivities will begin with a free lunch at 1 p.m. followed by live music from Kelly Hughes and face painting. The egg hunt will begin at 2 p.m. for ages 0-12. We will be giving away grocery and gas cards as well as eight kids bikes. Fernan Elementary is at 520 N 21st in Coeur d'Alene. Info: 772-7541.

SUNDAY

* Trinity Lutheran Church, 812 Fifth St., Coeur d'Alene, will hold a hunt at 10 a.m.

* Sky Prairie Church, which meets at Red Lion Templin's Hotel, 414 E. First Ave., Post Falls, will hold a hunt at 11 a.m.

* The Coeur d'Alene community Easter egg hunt organized by the North Idaho men's rugby team will be held at 1 p.m. sharp at City Park. Attendees should show up early. The event will be divided into three age groups. There will be candy and prizes and the Easter bunny will greet kids.
