A 21-year-old Columbia Falls man died in a single-vehicle crash shortly after midnight on March 28.

According to the Flathead County Sheriff/Coroner’s Office, Christian Evenson was killed in the crash on Hellman Lane, off Kokanee Ben Drive, near Columbia Falls.

Evenson was alone in the vehicle and reportedly was not wearing a seat belt. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, which is under investigation by the Montana Highway Patrol.
