A suspect nabbed in a Northwest Drug Task Force operation pleaded not guilty to several charges Thursday in Flathead District Court.

Joshua Boultinghouse, 21, Kalispell, is charged with two counts of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and one count of accountability to criminal possession with intent to distribute, all felonies.

According to a court document, Boultinghouse is alleged to have sold nine grams of cocaine to a confidential informant for $700 over the course of two buys.

He also allegedly mentioned the drugs belonged to John Busch, 39, of  Eaton, Wash., and that Busch would soon be going back to Seattle to bring back Ecstasy and more cocaine for them to sell.

An agent with the task force later discovered Busch bought an Amtrak ticket to Everett, Wash. Busch was apprehended as he got off the train after returning to Whitefish, allegedly with 14 grams of cocaine and 20 pills of Ecstasy.

If convicted of all his charges, Boultinghouse faces between one year and two consecutive life terms plus 20 years and a fine of up to $150,000. His next hearing is set for July 17.

Busch previously pleaded guilty to felony criminal possession with intent to distribute. A felony count of accountability to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs was dropped.

He was sentenced July 3, 2012, to five years in jail and three years of probation for that conviction and previous convictions for felony criminal endangerment and misdemeanor driving under the influence connected to a June 2010 traffic stop.
