Morleys, Robertson, Hickman win events at track invitational

RONAN — Bigfork’s Makena Morley posted easy victories in the distance races and Tessa Robertson and Logan Morley also had first-place finishes Thursday at the Ronan Invitational track meet.

Makena Morley posted times of 5:13.00 and 10:47.00 in winning the 1,600 and 3,200, respectively.

Robertson’s winning toss in the shot put was 33-5 3/4.

Logan Morley won the 1,600 in 4:54.00.

Troy’s Gabe Hickman won the javelin with a distance of 166-4.

This was a non-team scoring event.

This was the opening event of the season for most teams.
