CORVALLIS — Heidi Rausch tripled and homered en route to a six RBI afternoon, powering Polson to a 19-2 nonconference Class A softball victory over Corvallis.

Rausch had three hits in four trips to the plate.

Shalaina Duford, Jessica Bagnell, Jordyn Evertz and Skyla Krantz had two hits apiece for the Pirates.

Polson outhit Corvallis 14-4.

The Pirates had two four-run innings (first and fourth) and scored eight times in the second.

It was the season opener for Polson.

Polson is back in action April 4 hosting Frenchtown.
