| May 3, 2013 9:00 PM

Norma June (Delbridge) Westrack was born in Lark, Utah, on Dec. 23, 1926, and passed away on April 30, 2013. She was the daughter of Leah (Wardle) Peterson and George Peterson.

During her early years she lived in Lark and grew up in Rocksprings, Wyo., where she attended high school. She married William Robert Delbridge Sr., the love of her life, on Nov. 1, 1945, who was taken away on May 2, 1972, in the Sunshine Mine Disaster, along with her son Richard Delbridge and nephew, Mike Johnston. She moved to Alaska to be with her sister where she met and married, Dave Westrack, who also preceded her in death in 1983.

Norma was a homemaker and her family was the most important part of her life. She enjoyed her kids and grandkids more than life itself. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She never had a negative thing to say about anyone and always wanted to talk about the good things in life. She loved life and just being in her presence made you feel special and loved. It did not take anyone long to be around Norma to love her deeply. She was always up for traveling and said she is going to go for as long as she can because there will be a day when she will not be able to go.

She will be loved and missed by all her family and all who knew her. Guardian Angels are supposed to stay in Heaven to guide us but somehow she found her way down here to all of us. She was our angel on Earth and now she is our angel in heaven.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Delbridge Sr.; husband Dave Westrack; son Richard Lee Delbridge; nephew Mike Johnston; her parents, Leah and George; sisters, Fern Delbridge and Donna Agre; and a brother at infancy. She is survived by six children: William Delbridge Jr.(Carol) of Wallace, John Delbridge (Faye) of Nampa, Cheryl Morgan (Dwight) of Wallace, Sandy Delbridge of Post Falls, Kathy Gray (Ed) of Coeur d’Alene and Denise Renfrow (Lloyd) of Post Falls; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; and neices and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Yates Funeral Home, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene. A celebration of life will be held at the Elks in Wallace after the service. Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. Please visit Norma’s memorial and sign her online guest book at www.yatesfuneralhomes.com.
