Wilma R. Probst, 98, of Rathdrum, passed away April 26, 2013, in Coeur d’Alene. She was born March 26, 1915, in Whitesboro, Texas, to John and Lelia Russom.
Wilma came to Coeur d’Alene in 1991 from California. She worked as an inspector in the aircraft manufacturing industry and was a member of the New Beginnings Baptist Church in Rathdrum.
She is survived by her son, Robert L. Wylie of Las Vegas, Nev.; and daughters, Wilma Jean Thompson of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Betty Ann Davis of Wiggins, Miss.; as well as 23 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren. Wilma is preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Wylie and second husband, Robert Probst. She is also preceded in death by son Richard D. Wylie and daughter Susan D. Gass; as well as six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, at New Beginnings Baptist Church in Rathdrum. English Funeral chapel, Coeur d’Alene, is in care of the arrangements.
