Cards split with Colorado Northwestern

RANGELY, Colo. - Former Post Falls High standout Tori Schuler had three hits and two RBIs in the second game for the North Idaho College Cardinals, who split a Scenic West Athletic Conference softball doubleheader against the Colorado Northwestern Spartans on Friday.

Schuler singled to score Desirae Tinoco in the fourth inning for NIC's only run in a 9-1 loss in the first game - giving Colorado Northwestern only its fourth victory of the season.

Kellsi Parson and Amber Meyers had RBIs in the second game for NIC (19-33, 13-28) - a 7-0 victory.

Colorado Northwestern is 4-45, 3-41.

The teams conclude the regular season today with a doubleheader. The Region 18 tournament starts Wednesday in Twin Falls.
