The Evergreen Chamber of Commerce took delivery of a new building Friday night, at the Kmart parking lot. The building is the ChamberÕs first step to having a physical presence in Evergreen and will house tourism information for area visitors as well as information about Chamber members, discounts and coupons for local businesses. Chamber Executive Director Bev Ferris expects the building to be open in about two weeks after flooring and signs are installed. The 12-by-16-foot building occasionally will have volunteers present, but according to Ferris, it will be unstaffed most of the time. (Brenda Ahearn/Daily Inter Lake)
